PSIA-NW Technical Team

As most of you know we have selected the new team in this rotation. Along with Linda, Stan, and Kate, I would like to welcome Tyler Barnes to the team. Welcome Tyler!!

Although the tryout was small, it was a good one. We were able to see things that would not be possible at a larger event. The DCL tryout had quite a few new folks, and I think the next Technical Team tryout will have more participants coming from the DCL staff.

The plan for the future is to keep the team size to 4 per rotation. That would be 8 members and 3 coaches. The reason behind this is that we have depth in our team alumni and Lane, Dave Lyon and I believe a smaller unit can be more effective.

We will call on the alumni, of which the list is long and distinguished, for support in what we do as far as events and projects. Since the team is smaller everyone will be expected to contribute to the division to the best of their ability.

When it comes to wondering if your doing enough, search your soul and you'll most likely have the answer. If you can't find the answer, the coaches and the rest of the team will let you know. Enough of that serious stuff. Symposium is knocking at the door. Hope to see all of you there.
